Portugal is the most western country of all European countries, it has only one border with Spain, and shares the beautiful Atlantic ocean. With a fast growth rate this country is still known by many as a good place to spend their vacation, a tourism country. Europe is in times of change so the 15 countries that form the European Community are like one big country, one European presidency, one currency, one nation. We are European, no longer Portuguese or Spanish or French or German etc. etc...of course never forgetting who we are, what our heritage is...
Here I will give you a few samples of what Portugal looks like, the city, beaches etc.

This is a beautiful place called Sintra, with a beautiful palace from the ancient Monarchy.

This is how our beaches look, like this one is in the south, in Lagos (the south is one of the most chosen places by tourists). I used to go to this beach regularly and the hardest part was getting back to your car. You park at the top and walk down many many stairs and then, of course, you have to walk all the way back up when you are ready to leave.
